The method of pressure measurement is compared with the type of pressure measurement.
1. Bellows
Bellows are used to measure pressure. They can be made of cascaded capsules. It is basically manufactured by fixing many individual diaphragms together. Bellows element is a one-piece expandable, foldable and axially flexible member. It can be made of a thin piece of metal. The common bellows components are made by rolling pipes, drawing pipes by hydroforming and turning from solid metal materials. Liquid-filled bellows can be used in a variety of sensor applications.

2. Strain pressure sensor
This is a passive type of resistance pressure sensor. When it is stretched or compressed, its resistance will change. A strain gauge is a kind of wire. When subjected to mechanical strain, its resistance will change due to physical effects. The strain gauge is connected to the diaphragm. When the diaphragm is bent due to the applied pressure, the strain gauge will stretch or compress, and its resistance will change due to this change in its cross-sectional area. This change is converted into providing voltage by linking two or four similar meters similar to a Wheatstone bridge, so that the output can be maximized and the sensitivity to errors can be reduced.

3. Piezoelectric pressure sensor
Piezoelectric is the ability of some materials (mainly crystals) to generate electric potential in response to applied mechanical stress. In this transducer, the piezoelectric effect is applied to some materials (such as Shi Ying) to generate fast electrical signals and measure the strain caused by pressure on the sensing mechanism. Common types of piezoelectric pressure sensors are charge mode type and low impedance voltage mode type.

Good frequency response, no need for external power supply.
(2) Disadvantages of piezoelectric pressure sensor
Temperature changes will affect the output, and static pressure cannot be measured.
4. Piezoresistive sensor
Piezoresistance is the change of material resistance caused by the change of stress in the material. The piezoresistive gauge factor decreases with the increase of temperature. The sensor using this effect is a MEMS pressure sensor based on silicon, which has many applications, such as blood pressure sensing and tire pressure sensing.
