Engine oil pressure sensor functions as follows:

1. Test oil pressure:

The oil pressure sensor is installed on the main oil line of the engine. When the engine is running, the pressure measuring device detects the oil pressure, converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal, and sends it to the signal processing circuit. After voltage amplification and current amplification, the amplified pressure signal is connected to the oil pressure gauge through the signal line to change the oil pressure.

2. Pass the alarm:

The oil pressure of the engine is indicated by the current ratio between the two coils in the pressure indicator. After voltage amplification and current amplification, the pressure signal is compared with the alarm voltage set in the alarm circuit. When the alarm voltage is lower than the alarm voltage, the alarm circuit outputs the alarm signal and lights the alarm lamp through the alarm line

When the engine needs more fuel, the fuel pressure sensor increases the fuel pressure, and when the engine needs less fuel, the fuel pressure sensor decreases the fuel pressure.

In this way, the engine can adjust the fuel supply according to the actual demand, thus improving the combustion efficiency and fuel utilization.

The fuel pressure sensor works by sensing changes in fuel pressure and transmitting signals to the engine control unit (ECU), which adjusts the fuel pressure according to these signals.

If the fuel pressure sensor fails, it may cause the engine to not work properly, or even damage the engine. Therefore, it is very important to check and replace the fuel pressure sensor in time.
