Wiring mode of electronic drainage valve:

A three-core sheathed cable with an outer diameter of 8mm must be used for connecting the electrical drainage valve. Open the screw on the top of the junction box, unplug the junction box from the timer, use the measuring pen to pick out the inner core of the junction box for wiring, pay attention to the position of the grounding wire. After the connection is complete, tighten the screw on the top of the junction box and the nut on the terminal end.

When installing the electronic drainage valve, ensure that the compressed air must be drained (i.e. at zero pressure) and the power supply should be disconnected.

Set the timer with the right knob to set the interval time, with the left knob to set the discharge time. The setting time should be carried out in steps: set the discharge time to 2 seconds, set the interval time to 20 minutes, and then adjust as needed.

In the process of using the electronic drainage valve, the following points should be noted:

First, before installing the drainage valve, the sludge, copper chips, rust and other impurities in the compressed air system should be removed. It is recommended that you empty the system at full pressure for 3 to 5 minutes before installing the drain valve.

Second, the drainage direction and the upper arrow direction of the valve body should be consistent, and the direction of installation will cause the solenoid valve to fail to close.

Third, the power supply voltage should be consistent with the drainage valve voltage (marked with the drainage valve voltage on the coil) do not connect the wrong power supply.

Four, the TEST film switch on the timer is a manual test button, every time it is pressed, the drainage valve is discharged once. This button is used in daily work to check drainage conditions at any time.

Five, the two knobs of the timer are to adjust the emission and interval time, and should be adjusted in time according to the climate and working conditions.

Six, the small screw on the junction box of the drainage valve in addition to the connection effect, but also the function of pressing tight sealing pad to prevent water from entering the timer and coil, so it must be tightened. Otherwise, the gasket will not be waterproof, which will cause the coil and timer to burn. The lock nut of the connector is also waterproof and must be tightened.

Seven, in the use of the electronic drainage valve, there may be a situation where the solenoid valve is not strictly closed, which is manifested as air leakage. Usually the fault is not caused by the quality of the drainage valve itself, the reason is that the condensate is too dirty, and the small solid particles in it enter the valve core and jam the valve core.
