Product introduction
Sensor connection method
The wiring of sensors has always been one of the most frequently consulted questions in the purchasing process of customers. Many customers don't know how to wire sensors. In fact, the wiring methods of various sensors are basically the same. Pressure sensors generally have two-wire, three-wire, four-wire and some five-wire systems.
The two-wire system of pressure sensor is relatively simple, and most customers know how to connect wires. One wire is connected to the positive pole of power supply, and the other wire, that is, signal wire, is connected to the negative pole of power supply through instruments, which is the simplest. The three-wire system of pressure sensor is based on the two-wire system, and this wire is directly connected to the negative pole of power supply, which is a little more troublesome than the two-wire system. The four-wire pressure sensor must be two power inputs, and the other two are signal outputs. Most of the four-wire system is voltage output instead of 4~20mA output, and 4~20mA is called pressure transmitter, and most of them are made into two-wire system. Some of the signal outputs of pressure sensors are not amplified, and the full-scale output is only tens of millivolts, while some pressure sensors have amplification circuits inside, and the full-scale output is 0~2V. As for how to connect the display instrument, it depends on the measuring range of the instrument. If there is a gear suitable for the output signal, it can be measured directly, otherwise, a signal adjustment circuit should be added. There is little difference between the five-wire pressure sensor and the four-wire pressure sensor, and there are fewer five-wire pressure sensors on the market.
Pressure sensor is one of the most widely used sensors. Traditional pressure sensors are mainly mechanical devices, which indicate the pressure by the deformation of elastic elements, but this structure is large in size and heavy in weight, and cannot provide electrical output. With the development of semiconductor technology, semiconductor pressure sensors came into being. It is characterized by small volume, light weight, high accuracy and good temperature characteristics. Especially with the development of MEMS technology, semiconductor sensors are developing towards miniaturization with low power consumption and high reliability.
