How it works:
Direct acting relief valve consists of spool, valve body, spring, adjusting nut and other parts. Use the adjusting nut to set the pressure, when the inlet pressure is greater than the set pressure, the valve will open and overflow from the outlet. After the overflow, when the inlet pressure drops to less than the set pressure, the outlet will stop the overflow.
The pilot relief valve consists of a pilot valve and a main valve. The pilot valve is actually a small flow direct acting relief valve, and its spool is a cone valve. There is a damping hole on the main valve spool, and the upper cavity acting area is slightly larger than the lower cavity acting area, and the spring only plays a reset role when the valve port is closed.
Performance requirements:
Pressure regulation range: When mediating within the specified range, the output pressure of the valve can rise and fall smoothly, without sudden jump or hysteresis. In order to improve the adjustment performance of the high-pressure relief valve, four-stage pressure regulation is often achieved by replacing four springs with different stiffness 0.6 ~ 8, 4 ~ 16, 8 ~ 20, 16 ~ 32MPa;
Pressure flow characteristics: The inlet pressure of the relief valve fluctuates with the flow rate, also known as the opening and closing characteristics;
Pressure loss and unloading pressure: when the pre-compression of the pressure regulator spring is equal to zero or the upper chamber of the main valve is directly connected to the mailbox through the remote control port, when the flow through the valve is rated, the inlet pressure of the relief valve. The pressure loss is slightly higher than the unloading pressure.
