Points for attention
Ordinary valves and threaded cartridge valves are common types of valves in the industry, and their role is to control the flow of fluids to meet different industrial needs, such as hydraulic transmission, pipe control, etc. Although they are all valves, they have different characteristics in terms of structure, installation and use. This article will introduce the difference between ordinary valves and threaded cartridge valves from the following three aspects:
First, the difference in structure
1. The structure of ordinary valves is usually relatively simple, including valve body, valve core, valve cover and sealing ring and other components. Ordinary valves usually have only one outlet and one inlet, and the fluid flows into the valve from the inlet, through the control of the valve core, and finally out of the outlet. The structure of ordinary valves are ball valves, butterfly valves, globe valves and so on.
2. The threaded cartridge valve is an embedded valve whose structure can be divided into two parts, namely the port and the spool. The structure of the threaded cartridge valve is relatively fine and usually consists of several different components, such as the seat, the spool, the spring, the sealing ring, the filter, etc. The installation of the threaded cartridge valve is obvious, the valve is inserted into the pipe and the interface is fixed.
Second, the installation method is different
1. The installation method of ordinary valves is relatively simple, and only needs to fix the valves and pipes together. Ordinary valves are suitable for some smaller industrial pipelines; When used in large piping systems, support and sealing issues need to be considered.
2. The installation of the threaded cartridge valve is mainly based on the threaded structure of the pipeline. When installed, the larger thread is fixed to the pipe, while the smaller thread is inserted directly by the valve. Due to their small size, threaded cartridge valves are suitable for installation in dense piping systems.
3. Different applications
1. Ordinary valves are mainly suitable for valve control under low pressure, high temperature or low temperature environment. Ordinary valves control the switching of fluid channels by lifting and lowering the spool. These conventional valves are suitable for many industries, such as chemical, petroleum, food processing and other one-way hydraulic cartridge valves.
2. Threaded cartridge valves are generally used for precision control of water, gas and different types of chemicals. Threaded cartridge valves are widely used in pneumatic systems, cooling water circulation systems, compressed air systems and other fields.
