The adjustable pressure relief valve, also known as the adjustable safety valve, is different from the general fixed safety valve. Its take-off pressure can be adjusted within a certain range according to the requirements of customers, which greatly increases the flexibility of application. It is mostly used in some occasions where the set pressure often needs to be changed and some experimental test equipment. By adjusting the valve, the maximum pressure in the pressure vessel can be controlled to ensure the safety of the pressure vessel.

1. Before leaving the factory, the opening pressure of the safety valve should be adjusted one by one to the setting value required by the user. If the user puts forward the working pressure level of the spring, it should be adjusted according to the lower limit of the pressure level.

2. Before installing the safety valve on the protected equipment or before installation, the user must readjust it at the installation site to ensure that the set pressure value of the safety valve meets the requirements.

3. Within the working pressure range of the spring indicated on the nameplate, the opening pressure can be adjusted by rotating the adjusting screw to change the compression of the spring.

4. Before rotating the adjusting screw, the inlet pressure of the valve should be reduced to less than 90% of the opening pressure, so as to prevent the disc from being driven to rotate when rotating the adjusting screw, thus damaging the sealing surface.1.
