Cartridge valves have been widely used in a variety of construction machinery, material handling machinery and agricultural machinery. In the industrial field that is often neglected, the application of cartridge valves is constantly expanding. Especially in many occasions where the weight and space are limited, the traditional industrial hydraulic valve is helpless, while the cartridge valve shows its talents. Past experience has proved that the lack of imagination is the only limit to realize the immediate benefits of production by using cartridge valves.
The pressures of oil ports A, B and X in the working state of cartridge valve unit are pA, pB and px, and the acting areas are AA, AB and Ax, respectively. The return spring force at the upper end of the valve core is Ft, and the valve port is closed when pxAx+Ft >pAAA+pBAB; When pxAx+Ft ≤ pAAA+ pBAB, the valve port opens.
In actual work, the stress state of the valve core is controlled by the way of oil passing through the oil port X.
X goes back to the oil tank, and the valve port is opened;
X is communicated with the oil inlet, and the valve port is closed.
A valve that changes the way the oil port passes oil is called a pilot valve.
Taking the wheel loader as an example, the cartridge valve integrated block is used to replace the power transmission control device which has constant faults and is difficult to diagnose and maintain. The original control system has more than 60 connecting pipes and 19 independent components. The whole special integrated block used for replacement has only 11 pipes and 17 components. The volume is 12 x 4 x 5 cubic inches, which is 20% of the space occupied by the original system. The characteristics of cartridge valve are as follows:
