Type of relief valve

According to the different structure, the relief valve can be divided into two categories: direct acting type and leading type. Direct acting relief valve is a relief valve in which the hydraulic pressure of the main oil line acting on the spool is directly balanced with the pressure regulating spring force. According to the different structural forms of the valve port and the pressure measuring surface, three basic structures are formed. No matter what kind of structure, the direct-acting relief valve is composed of three parts: pressure regulating spring and pressure regulating handle, overflow port and pressure measuring surface. Comparison between direct acting relief valve and leading relief valve: direct acting relief valve: simple structure, high sensitivity, but the pressure is greatly affected by the change of overflow flow, pressure regulation deviation is large, not suitable for working under high pressure and large flow, often used as a safety valve or for occasions where the pressure regulation accuracy is not high.

Pilot relief valve: The main valve spring is mainly used to overcome the friction of the valve core, and the spring stiffness is small. When the overflow rate change causes the main valve spring compression change, the spring force change is small, so the valve inlet pressure change is small. High voltage regulation precision, widely used in high pressure, large flow system. The spool of the relief valve is subjected to the action of friction during the moving process, and the direction of friction in the opening and closing hours of the valve is just opposite, so that the characteristics of the relief valve are different when it is opened and when it is closed.
