1. Oil pressure is always too low

The oil pressure sensor is usually installed in the main oil passage, if the oil pressure gauge and the oil pressure sensor are normal, and the oil pressure gauge indicates that the pressure is too low, the possible causes of the failure can be analyzed according to the composition of the lubrication system and the oil circuit. If the oil circuit is divided into the front and the back two parts according to the oil flow direction and the oil pressure sensor, the reasons for the low oil pressure can be divided into two aspects: first, the oil circuit before the oil pressure sensor is not free or the oil supply is insufficient; Second, the oil drain after the oil pressure sensor is too fast. Although there are certain differences in the composition of the lubrication system and the oil circuit of different engines, it is not difficult to diagnose the fault of low oil pressure according to the above ideas.

2. Oil pressure suddenly drops

The sudden reduction of oil pressure is generally a serious oil leakage, such as oil pipe wire blockage, oil pipe rupture, etc., will make a large amount of oil leakage, and the oil pressure reflected in the engine work will be very low. Oil pump damage, such as gear oil pump and pump housing, pump shaft and bearing between serious wear, or pump shaft fracture pressure regulator failure and other reasons, so that the oil pump can not establish normal working pressure; It may also be that the pipeline joint connected with the oil pump is loose or cracked, and the oil filter is blocked, etc., which can lead to the lubricating system oil pump being unable to establish a normal working pressure, so that the engine oil pressure is low or even no pressure. After this happens, the engine should be turned off immediately to avoid serious mechanical accidents. Then remove the engine oil pan, focus on inspecting the leak site and the oil pump.
