What's the difference between solenoid valve and proportional solenoid valve?
The solenoid valve is either open or closed, or open or closed. It can work with different media, run at many different voltages, have different configurations and diameters, and is normally open or normally closed, but it is always in the open or closed state.
The proportional solenoid valve is gradually opened according to the voltage applied to the solenoid, which acts with the spring to position the valve core in different degrees of "open" position. Because the flow rate, pressure, temperature and fluid cleanliness will change constantly, a given input voltage may not always produce the same spool position.
In order to solve the position accuracy of the spool, linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) can be used. LVDT electronically compares the input signal with the spool position and modifies the voltage to provide the same spool position regardless of system changes. LVDT will increase the cost of valves and electronic equipment, but it is usually necessary in all but the simplest applications.
What parts are solenoid valves made of?
The solenoid valve consists of a valve body, a magnetic core connected to the valve stem and disc, and an electromagnetic coil. Springs are used to release and close the valve.
1. Solenoid-It is an electric coil with a plunger or magnetic core in the center, which is coaxial with the solenoid. This coil is copper wire.
2. Iron core-Iron core is called plunger, which is a magnetic element that moves when the solenoid is energized.
3. Valve body-The choice of valve body must be compatible with the fluid, mainly made of brass, stainless steel and aluminum.
4. Spring-The spring is used to release and close the valve.
5. bonnet-a nut or square flange that secures the magnetic operating assembly to the valve body.
6. Seat seal-usually installed on the medium pressure valve to close the orifice of the valve or pilot valve.
