Gate valves can be divided into: (1) parallel gate valves: the sealing surfaces are parallel to the vertical axis, that is, the two sealing surfaces are parallel to each other. In parallel gate valves, the structure with thrust wedge is very common, that is, there are two thrust wedges between two gates. This gate valve is suitable for gate valves with small diameter (DN40-300mm) in low voltage. There is also a spring plate between the two rams, and the torsion spring can cause a pre-tightening force, which is beneficial to the sealing of the electromagnetic relief valve plate. (2) Wedge gate valve: the sealing surface forms a certain angle with the vertical axis, that is, the two sealing surfaces form a wedge gate valve. The oblique viewing angles of the sealing surface are generally 2 52', 3 30', 5, 8, 10, etc. The key to the angle is the temperature of the material. In general, the higher the temperature is, the larger the viewing angle should be to reduce the probability of wedging when the temperature changes.
