             Solenoid valve is an important electric actuator to ensure the normal operation of automatic transmission. The different states of the solenoid valve correspond to different gears, and its working state also affects the working state of the automatic transmission. Naturally, the detection of the solenoid valve is also an essential part of the automatic transmission maintenance process. What happens when the automatic transmission solenoid valve breaks?

1. The gearbox will not downshift. If the gearbox does not downshift, one of the shift solenoid valves may be stuck in the on/off position, which will prevent oil from entering the gearbox body to pressurize the correct gear.

2. Serious shift delay/neutral is caused by the shift of the electronic automatic transmission, and the electromagnet must be able to adjust the hydraulic oil to start the appropriate gear. If the shift solenoid receives too much or too little current, or if dirty transmission oil affects its opening/closing, gear meshing can become difficult or delayed, which can affect transmission operation as if it were temporarily locked in the transmission.

3. Shifting gears is wrong. The transmission solenoid valve is faulty. The transmission can skip a gear, shifting back and forth between gears repeatedly, or it can refuse to shift because it is stuck in first gear.
